This is a sketch of my lighting plan for my cover photo. It will be a shot of a basketball hoop. As you can see there aren't a lot of lighting elements needed, so all I planned for was the natural light from outside windows, the lighting from the indoor lights, and maybe some extra light just for a little bit of filling or shadow control.
